Privacy Policy

This policy explains how DBR Jewellery uses information through its website and employee design workflow, including its connection to Google Drive.
Information we handle
Employee accounts contain a name, email address, password hash, role and account status. The workflow stores sketches, CAD files, rendering images and videos, design notes and numbers, marks, contributor details and activity dates.
We also process sign-in sessions, security cookies and limited technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to operate the website, investigate errors and limit repeated sign-in attempts. Passwords are checked using secure hashes; the website does not store them as readable text.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate employees, manage access, organize designs, record contributions and completion, display previews and provide authorized downloads. The employee workflow is intended for DBR Jewellery’s business use.
Google Drive connection
A designated Google account owner authorizes the website’s Google Drive connection. New CAD files, images and videos are saved in the designated DBR business folder. The website reads file details and content to validate uploads, display previews and provide downloads, and removes stored files when an authorized deletion is completed.
The Google permission used by this connection can technically allow access to all files in the connected Drive account. The website uses the connection for its designated business folder and existing business file references; it does not browse unrelated personal files. Employees sign in with their DBR website accounts and do not receive the owner’s Google password or reusable Google access credentials.
DBR Jewellery’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models.
Storage and access
GoDaddy hosts the website and its database. Google Drive stores connected file content. Small previews and workflow records may be stored with the website. These providers process information as needed to supply their hosting and storage services, and may process it in countries outside your own.
Approved employees can view business designs and download files through the workflow. Roles and ownership rules control changes to files and records; management and administrators have broader access. Files are not made public merely because they are uploaded to the workflow.
We use encrypted connections, account checks and private server configuration to protect access. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and design records while needed for business operations, design history and applicable recordkeeping requirements. There is currently no automatic expiry period for designs. Account deactivation prevents access and may retain contribution history.
Authorized deletions remove the relevant workflow records and schedule the associated stored files for removal when they are no longer referenced. Cleanup may be retried after a service interruption. Issued design-number history is retained so numbers are not reused. Provider logs and other retained copies are subject to the relevant provider’s retention processes.
The Google account owner can revoke the connection through the Google Account’s third-party connections settings. Revocation stops the website’s access but does not itself delete files already in Drive or the website’s existing workflow records.
Your requests and choices
Contact DBR Jewellery to ask about information held about you, request corrections or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may verify your identity and explain any business, technical or legal reason that prevents fulfilling a request in full.
The workflow uses cookies needed for sign-in and request security. We do not use Google Drive data for targeted advertising. Links to external websites are governed by those websites’ own policies.
